This story is a hot mess it meanders then it’s like a cat running from random cucumbers left in weird places, this story for each part had no cohesion, lack of support for whatever plot the author had in mind … People would come out for whatever reason… The interactions felt forced for the most part… A missed opportunity for something better ..
When an author has zero idea about the topic they chose to write about, while I’m not a war expert, I can tell so much sht was pulled out of her ass…
The characters had very little chemistry, except maybe the prince? the mc was doing weird things with little commonsense, this story could’ve been salvaged to reign in the author by a good editor… Make them focus on researching sht…spending time getting characters built well so they’re not cringey and embarassing…
When the prince said he wanted to prank or jumping over walls to sneak out it was cringey af… The speech she said about going to war was giving me 2ndhand embarassment she wanted the mines … Not fighting for loved ones …skipping world building to get to the end part it felt very vague and without substance… Her stepmother was a whole other level of cringe. … Her friend Sonia was only there to glare or suck up it was so weird and disjointed that I wasn’t sure wth was going on?
Bianca simping her …. these random men simping, odd reactions for nothing.. going to places for nothing .. getting kidnapped … Like pick something to focus and build it up, but the author was so distracted and couldn’t lock in anything…it started off well then went chaotic…
There’s so much more I want to say…. My wall of text is all over place like this story….
