Yay! Now, as foreshadowed, Rayan is the regressor, Estella is likely evil incarnation of Ishtar with mind control like abilities (mind control at the very least), and Luci is the transmigrator/incarnation of Ikarella somehow.
There’s definitely something fishy with the whole Ikarella and Ishtar myths and how the Duke and Prince allowed for her execution (since half of the ‘abuse’ was due to misunderatandings from avoidance and a promise to Arcelia to not get involved in her daughter’s affairs).
My current head canon is that Arcellia and Reinhart were in love, but due to reasons she had to give her daughter to the Duke instead (who also had a crush on her) to raise as his own (possibly knew true origins?) And, Rayan likely made a pact with pride to start this whole regression loop again and again to try to save her from Estella and execution, likely at the cost of his soul or something.
